It’s National Fire Chiefs Council #BeWaterAware week, a great opportunity to talk about how to stay safe near water with some of the young people we’ve met 🛟💦

As part of the National Fire Chiefs Council #BeWaterAware Week, our team has been out and about in the community, engaging with businesses and members of the public to promote water safety.

Areas covered have included Bowness, Coniston, Ambleside and Newby Bridge.

Two WMFS fire engines, full of equipment, have set off to join a 30-vehicle convoy.

They're carrying donations from UK fire and rescue services to support Ukrainian firefighters.
