May is National Water Safety Month, so we want to help raise awareness of watching kids around water.

A pool fence is a great safety measure for your backyard that can help keep your family safe.

40% of people who accidentally drowned had no intention of entering the water. Slips trips and falls were often the cause of these accidents.

Unseen hazards and cold water shock can mean even strong swimmers get into trouble.

Anyone could drown, no one should. If you start to struggle in the water:

- Tilt your head back
- Relax, breathe normally
- Move your hands to help you float
- Spread your arms and legs out
- Call for help or swim to safety
