In the early hours of the 17th this driver decided to fail to stop for Lancs Police Specialist Ops officers. They didn’t realise a whole team of Lancashire Police traffic cops happened to be within seconds of him & the helicopter above! Vehicle subject to ‘stinger’ & arrested! #Teamwork

Today the Barton crew have assisted Bay Search & Rescue Lancaster Area Search & Rescue Lancs Police Specialist Ops with searching of the Morecambe and Southport coastal areas. Merseyside Police Roads Policing Unit with reports of bikes in the Newton Le Willows & St Helens areas. GMP Traffic Greater Manchester Police with a pursuit in Longsight.

Top #Teamwork again last night, resulting in two suspects off to custody and another vehicle off the road, preventing it from being used any further in an anti-social manner and stopping it from putting considerate and careful road-users at risk 🚔🏃‍♂️ 🚁 GMP Traffic

You may have seen the Barton aircraft down low and landing near to Mitchell’s House Reservoirs. We assisted Lancs Police DogUnit Lancashire Police with a search. Person safe and well with officers as we left the area.

Whilst leaving a cul de sac the driver tried to force their way past Lancs Police DogUnit deployed PD Blitz 🐕 resulting in 4 being arrested #ForceOps

A Lancashire Police patrol spotted a stolen vehicle which was pursued and then abandoned in #BoltonLeSands . The driver fled onto the rail tracks. We attended with Network Rail Incident Response. The driver was located by NPAS North West Region and Lancs Police DogUnit and #arrested .
