Delighted to have Emma from Newdriverni come in to speak to our Year 13's today about safer motoring and the practicalities of learning to drive and own a car. Such a worthwhile talk for our pupils!🚗🚗
Lynda Hurley from Department for Infrastructure's Safe & Accessible Travel Division & roadtozero, attended the Newdriverni campaign launch at Strathearn School. The initiative, a recipient of @Deptinfra’s Road Safety Grant Scheme, aims to educate new drivers & passengers on good motoring decisions.
89mph as a Restricted Driver is obviously excessive….. only holding his Driving Licence since June, this driver will have to explain his actions to a judge after being stopped by Steeple RPU officers today. Please slow down!

Stephen from Newdriverni presented year 13 with lots of tips and advice for staying safe as we learn/begin to drive. Passing the driving test is a huge milestone for young people on their journey to independence, never take it for granted - protect yourself and others.
