Much of Hans Kelsen's earlier legal thought has not been translated into English, and since my German is basic I resorted to Italian, t/b my UG days writing about kantian cosmopolitanism in my 4th language. Need more coffee to survive this..

Haven't tweeted on Gaza in a while because I felt there was nothing to add but the images of starving children a few dozen miles from here haunts me. I never dreamed it would come to this. It's true that Hamas is also to blame but that's no excuse. Once you conquer - it's on you.

Almost five months in.. it's outrageous, depressing, horrifying that this war continues. Stop the violence, return the hostages, find a political solution out of this hell.
