This morning’s Guardian headline says it all! Investing in teachers and the education of our children should be a no-brainer. It’s an opportunity for huge longterm savings & wealth creation. It’s a policy that pays for itself, not just for a lifetime, but for generations to come.

On BBC Radio 4 Today Sir Michael Wilshaw says one word judgements can only work if secure & consistent- and “we haven’t got that” because inspections short and many inspectors not headteachers

What an easy win for labour this is??

Just a reminder that this has been an issue for as long as we can remember - the initiatives are all very similar and this 'selective' 'up to £6K promise' is probably too little too late (15 years too late)
You need to retain current teachers and keep teachers longer than 5 years

Never saw this coming... but seems obvious... that's at least half a million jobs right there....
