People often ask me what Labour will do about the dire state of Britain’s railways.

Now we have the answer.

This morning I set out Labour's roadmap to fix Britain's railways.

Labour's plan means delivering a publicly owned railway within five years, putting passengers first, and bringing down costs for taxpayers.
