Every book is banned for a child who cannot read. Stop distracting parents and the public from the fact that less than HALF of Minnesota students are able to read at grade level. HALF!! We should be focusing on literacy, literacy, literacy!

School districts in Minnesota are literally taking out loans to fund their students & classrooms while the legislature & Governor take a “victory lap” for mandating districts into deficits. Despite warnings - somehow “historic funding” led to shortfalls, cuts, loans, & tax levies

Since 2019 when Gov. Walz started: Graduation rates stagnated; consistent attendance 69.8%; reading DECLINED 16%; math DECLINED 17%, science DECLINED 23%. DFL strategies have failed our schools, failed our parents, and failed our students. This red alert is crying out for reform!

The ability to read is an open door to success and one of the greatest equalizers in a society. This is absolutely unacceptable. We can do better in Minnesota. Much better.

Republicans respond to Gov. Tim Walz's State of the State address: 'Walz offers distractions about so-called book bans while half of our students can't read at grade level and reading scores have dropped ten percent during his time in office.'

Our governor is highly focused on his 'banning book bans' legislation. Evidently, he wants to distract parents from the sad truth that fewer than 50% of children in Minnesota can read at grade level. The fact of the matter is, every book is banned for a child who cannot read.

Last year Democrats erased funding to help women who may want to keep their baby. This year, my goal is to restore that funding AND add money for maternity homes.

Yet another legal “opinion.” AG Ellison’s clarification did not fix the problem. He can’t fix it. Only the legislature can. Let’s get this done!

We would invite Governor Tim Walz but he will be in Japan instead of addressing this…

You’re correct, Walter Hudson. When the debate is being lost, slander becomes the tool of the loser. It’s sad that there is little public forum anymore. Just a bunch of name callers who can’t argue their point.

Once again, my agency is denied.

Since they can't actually argue my points, they skip to the worst form of ad hominem - 'his thoughts aren't his own.'

The WAY we transition to clean energy is incredibly important. In our climate it can be a life or death issue. It matters for every Minnesotan that we transition with common sense - a sustainable, reliable, and affordable energy grid. TY MREA
