Medic refresher training today - a small group, great to go over some skills we/they don't use a lot to make sure they're still confident and competent. Makes so much difference teaching people who want to be there and are keen to learn. #thebasicsdonewell

Test TST vs MITT
37 patients. 11 required immediate LSI
TST much faster than MITT. Using MITT after TST reduces MITT time
TST 78% accurate, largely due to kids being overtriaged

Alter and change scenarios to make role-specific.
In London, ARVs had 3500 firearms calls last year. Had more than 14000 medical calls.
