The CRISP tool increased risk-appropriate screening for bowel cancer in general practice settings, specifically for patients with average risk who were due for screening. It's a promising step towards implementing this tool in practice.

In Adelaide today for the annual PC4 Strategic Planning Day. We gave an update on the new MRFF-funded SMARTERscreen trial around increasing #bowel #cancer screening through personalised SMS messages. This builds on the success of the SMARTscreen trial Prof Michael Jefford (he/him)

We began developing the CRISP trial ten years ago.
The RCT tested a risk-prediction tool for colorectal screening in general practice. In parallel, we conducted an implementation study with practice nurses in a primary care setting. Thanks to PC4 for supporting this study.

The PARTNER program will provide regional patients with access to #ClinicalTrials which they might otherwise not be invited into.
