During this ongoing heatwave across the country Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BDRCS) continues to provide support to the people needed most. The Chattogram City Unit distributing lemonade to the day laborer, rickshaw-puller, CNG driver and pedestrian.
Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BDRCS) with the support of IFRC, DREF has activated its heatwave EAP for Dhaka city targetting to reach about 300,000 people through awarness messages, distribution of safe drinking water, umbrella & cap and establishing cooling stations with first aid and ambulance services.
