A successful day conducting exercises with SpokespersonNavy INS Sahyadri. Meeting up with RFA Argus and ourselves, we conducted boarding exercises, flyex and personnel were exchanged for the day 🇮🇳 🇬🇧

RFA Argus tops up our tanks on a sweltering day in the Indian Ocean. Argus provided us with enough fuel to fill the average car up 10,000 times ⛽️

The first ever Naafi (NAAFI) has opened on board an RFA ship.🙌

The shop is onboard RFA LYME BAY and it is hoped to bring a touch of familiarity and convenience to the crew.

A boost for morale and a first for Royal Fleet Auxiliary
Ships - a spanking new NAAFI shop!
Ships company and Embarked Forces will now have access to snacks, sweet treats, and toiletries whilst deployed. Captain Wingrove cut the ribbon to declare the shop open for business 🍫

LYME BAY recently hosted members of Plymouth College Combined Cadet Force. Tours of the Ship were conducted (including a busier than usual Vehicle Deck). The visit was completed with a Ships plaque presented by the Captain

A week that saw Lyme Bay host Pre Deployment briefings, stores onload and vehicle embarkation, ended with sundowners on the Bridge wing 🏖🌅 (fancy dress included)
