I want to be seen by someone with skill, knowledge & experience who can use those attributes to diagnose &treat me when I’m ill. I want to be able to have the confidence that that is absolutely exactly who I’m seeing. I want to be seen by a proper GP.

The GP is the basis of the NHS. They must be well trained and there must be enough of them. There is an acute shortage and an organised campaign to replace them with untrained people. This will be disastrous. We don't know how many patients will suffer and die unnecessarily.

There's so much work to be done to improve prescribing practices.

This is where pharmacists add most value across both primary & secondary care.

Personally schemes like pharmacy first feel like a distraction - & put access over quality, joined up care!
