.Joaquin Castro and I had the honor of inviting Bexar County Judge Peter Sakai and his wife, Rachel, to join us for Japanese Prime Minister Kishida Fumio's joint address to Congress.
Judge Sakai, a second-generation Japanese American, is a strong advocate for Bexar County.
At today’s Appropriations hearing, I emphasized that Congress must put aside its differences and provide Homeland Security with the support it needs to make our border safe and secure.
Congress must pass the Senate bipartisan border deal and reform our asylum system.
