Today, the Secretary of the Navy presented Rep. Gallagher with the Navy Distinguished Public Service Award, the highest honorary award that the U.S. Navy can bestow upon a civilian not employed by the Navy.

The House overwhelmingly passed Rep. Gallagher’s Strengthening Tools to Counter the Use of Human Shields Act to sanction terrorist groups, such as Hamas, for using innocent civilians and hostages as human shields.
