RA-UIP may be due to a cause–effect relationship between UIP and RA, rather than due to a coincidental occurrence of IPF in patients with RA

For completeness, does v occasionally seem to cause an acute pneumonitis.

Sometimes mosaic attenuation, lobular or diffuse air trapping. There is overlap with asthma or COPD in some cases, but often distinctive.
