Very pleased to have added a new date for my Evening With tour next month - now including Truro Cathedral on Wednesday 13th March. A very special place in Cornwall which I of course know well. Tickets are available here minack.com/whats-on/eveni…

The third and final week of Food Stories starts tonight in Kent where I harvest cherries before heading out on the water from Ramsgate in search of Dover Sole. My favourite, especially cooked à la meunière. Watch tonight to get the recipe to try at home for a special occasion.

John Dory with beer, bacon and cabbage features on tonight’s episode of Food Stories. I’m very fond of this simple treatment for a great fish like John Dory, which is perfectly complemented by the bitterness of the beer, the smokiness of the bacon and the lightly cooked lettuce.

Loved my visit to Houria cafe during my Food Stories travels in Bristol. Founder Kim’s salt cod fish cakes, which I cooked back in Padstow, are seriously good with aioli and a squeeze of lime. Watch at 6.30pm tonight

Food Stories is back on BBC Two tonight at 6.30pm . Watch as I journey around south Wales to visit the writing shed of Dylan Thomas, salt marshes on the Gower and a rather fun night fishing trip on the River Towy .

Chuffed to share my new book Rick Stein’s Food Stories, which celebrates recipes from the current series, is out in September. I’m particularly fond of the aubergine biryani, a smoked sea trout dish and a classic with John Dory. Pre-order here: lnk.to/RickSteinFoodS…

I venture to Bury Market in tonight’s episode of Food Stories and have a great chat with Matthew from Chadwick’s Black Pudding stall about tripe, cowheel pie (remember Desperate Dan?) and black pudding too . Which just so happens to work very nicely in my Scotch egg recipe .

Steak and Guinness pie is on the menu in tonight’s episode of Food Stories. Very much inspired by my travels around Belfast, which really is a blossoming food and drink destination. Loved it.

Here’s a sneak peek at tonight’s episode of Food Stories where I’m in Lincolnshire to discover James Dyson’s project that combines farming and scientific experimentation. Fascinating stuff

On Rick Stein’s Food Stories tonight I rediscover a love of Argyll, catch langoustines and explore a century-old smokehouse. This of course inspires two fab recipes for you to cook at home after the episode, tattie scones with smoked salmon and arroz rojo.

We’ve got a rather special opportunity to join the Rick Stein Restaurants team as Company Exec Chef. An important position to inspire our chefs, sharing a love of fresh fish, simply cooked. If you have experience of managing across various restaurants apply here: bit.ly/48WPXCy
