Very pleased to have added a new date for my Evening With tour next month - now including Truro Cathedral on Wednesday 13th March. A very special place in Cornwall which I of course know well. Tickets are available here minack.com/whats-on/eveni…
I venture to Bury Market in tonight’s episode of Food Stories and have a great chat with Matthew from Chadwick’s Black Pudding stall about tripe, cowheel pie (remember Desperate Dan?) and black pudding too . Which just so happens to work very nicely in my Scotch egg recipe .
Episode one of Food Stories is on BBC Two at 6.30pm, I’ll be exploring Cumbria including paying homage to Stan Laurel and trip to sheep farm in the Lakes. Pleased to be chatting about the series and my upcoming theatre tour on BBC The One Show tonight too.
Chuffed to feature on the Fortnum & Mason Food and Drink Awards Personality of the Year list. Vote for your favourite and you could win one of Fortnum’s lovely hampers bit.ly/4b30FcK
We’ve got a rather special opportunity to join the Rick Stein Restaurants team as Company Exec Chef. An important position to inspire our chefs, sharing a love of fresh fish, simply cooked. If you have experience of managing across various restaurants apply here: bit.ly/48WPXCy
My birthday in Mollymook NSW Just tucking
into a Negroni at #RickSteinBannisters Looking forward to some john dory and lobster pithivier for dinner. Great swim at North Mollymook this afternoon, locals saying it’s a bit cold at 21.5 degrees try summer in Cornwall at 17 I say.
Couldn’t believe how sunny the weather has been all during our Padstow Christmas Festival 🎄 Storms preceded it & overnight rain was heavy. Singing, warm smells of food and fabulous demos Thanks to the chefs, the voluntary helpers, the Padstow community & above all the organiser #TinaEvans
.Rick Stein and Charlie Stein kicked off day two of Padstow Christmas Festival 🎄 earlier with a fab demo 🎄 Crab gnocchi and meatballs with tomato and orzo were on the menu.
