Lovely interview with Paul Powlesland about weaving nature protection into every aspect of his life.
He tells his story in Chapter 5 of Wild Service, 'Guardianship'.

Enjoyed sharing some thoughts on a right to roam for Ireland UCC Ireland in Cork last week! I suggested that we can and should talk about the RTR when discussing environmental rights, and this should be an all-island issue...👣🌳

Right to Roam Taking the piss. You can drive down a road near the house and even visit the golf club 100m from the house. Yet you cant walk along a path a lot futher away. Not only that, 95% of the path would be in a wood, not a park or a garden.

'We human beings are not merely observers of nature, we are an integral part of it, and our future depends on protecting it.'
We agree Steve Reed. Our ecological future rests on bringing people back into nature: physically, educationally, spiritually. Access 🤝 guardianship.
Today's challenge: 'Dress like a book cover in front of a landscape that matches your dress...' 👏😉
Really looking forward to #WildService
Leif Bersweden Right to Roam This passage really stood out: rope swing as revolutionary act.
At a point in time where we seem to increasingly lock passionate, engaged young people up rather than respond to their concerns about the collapse of the natural world there is something wonderful about this act.
