What a difference in the players today; playing the forward pass, looking to get to the byline and very rarely going for the safe pass back. Thought everyone was good but a big shout out to McClelland for not putting a foot wrong in his debut. Great stuff.

We can debate the merits of Jim Goodwin’s team selections all day with benefit of hindsight. My main concern now isn’t team selections but rather his inability to motivate a group of players who are taking to the pitch with no belief and playing at a lower gear than they should
