Pumping continued until approx. 21:30 on the 21st at all stations until river levels rose again on the Tone and Parrett forcing spillways to run as well as inhibiting pumping at all pumping stations. Levels in the T&P are still too high to pump this morning. Environment AgencySW
On Thursday, I visited the River Cam at #Yarlington to see the new depth-measuring devices that are being installed. A joint initiative between Liberal Democrats councillors & Somerset Rivers Authority, the solar-powered units will send real-time messages & alerts to residents when levels begin to rise.
