Was delighted to attend ⁦The Growth Commission⁩ yesterday and hear their plans for stimulating economic growth.

One of their main drivers was to reform planning, so here’s an idea I put forward about being even more ambitious.

In our Spring Growth Budget we have calculated a medium-term fiscal headroom £60bn and propose an initial £15 billion of net tax cuts in 2024-25 and further cuts as growth increases and spending is kept frozen.
