I was honored to work alongside Dr. John Flateau & saw in person his stalwart advocacy, commitment to civil rights & highest standards, all of which reflected his dedication to the work & the cause. A tremendous loss for all of New York. May his memory be a blessing.

I was honored to hear Takeshi (Tak) Furumoto, a Vietnam War Veteran and Bronze Star recipient who was born in a Japanese Internment Camp in the United States speak about patriotism and his life story of persistence and grit.
