We just “crash tested” using translational #simulation a more streamlined process of getting critically injured pts to the OR.

Far more safe & efficient than “hoping” a new protocol will work. In a complex adaptive system, key to observe how a new system plays out in reality.

We tested, refined & improved the process for walk-in stroke patients using an 8 min scenario and 25min debriefing with a multidisciplinary team led by stroke NP Lee Barratt
