An access road for the Norwich Western Link will run through this wood and the beautiful meadow beyond, close to the spot where the Beaker people once roamed (and left archeology). Forever lost in the name of development and profit.

I can’t quite underline how peaceful it was here this afternoon. Woodpeckers drumming. A buzzard soaring overhead. A wren with a chest full of song.

I have this strange noise of brain being boggled inside my head.

Steve Morphew Cllr Terry Jermy As a councillor, he has always worked hard for Thetford and his constituents. I have no doubt he will do the same as their MP.

And leaving the rest of us just asking ‘why us?’ And a few other rather more pointed questions. With her unique ability to get it so wrong her tragic memoir is published just in time to remind us of staggering Tory damage to our country before local elections.
