Wonderful to hear our participants' feedback on Session 1 - the power of lived experience to ignite change. Lots of appreciation for Bridging Gaps, Surfing Sofas, Museum of Homelessness, James Dillon, as well as for the 'powerful sense of responsibility' communicated by Bola Owolabi
This was one of my fave Spoken Minds workshops. Many thanks to Amanda Sinclair for bringing her good vibes and photography wisdom to Leeds.
I launched the 'Spoken Minds' project back in September, where I delivered workshops to amazing groups of people with lived experience of homelessness.
I found it tough at times, but now we have an anthology & an EP that will be released in May!

Incredible opening day of our new Pathway ICS programme yesterday. Gill Taylor put brutal truth and honesty front and centre with the brilliant James Dillon, the wonderful artists of Museum of Homelessness Surfing Sofas and the amazing women of Bridging Gaps One25. 1/2
We had a fab time with Nell Hardy Response Ability Theatre the other day, exploring ourapproach as staff to supporting people & managing stress. Really great, thought provoking workshop, thanks Nell (& Arts & Homelessness International for helping to set up)
