Received a courtesy call from the Ambassador of Sweden in Kenya, H.E. Amb. Caroline Vicini. We explored areas of collaboration & mutual interest, particularly in the medical sector, with an emphasis on cancer care using Sweden's expertise in the detection & management of the disease.

Today Romina Pourmokhtari visited Roam in Nairobi. This Swedish-Kenyan electric mobility company designs, develops and deploy low-cost and low-emission electric motorcycles and electric buses for emerging markets in Africa, starting in Kenya.

Sweden is taking part in the United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA-6) in Nairobi to push for a stronger global environmental policy. UNEA-6 will focus on tackling the triple planetary crisis of climate change, nature and biodiversity loss, and pollution and waste. #Unea6

Today is a historic day. The parliaments of all NATO member states have now voted in favour of Swedish accession to NATO. Sweden stands ready to shoulder its responsibility for Euro-Atlantic security.
