A great day learning about plants, soil, erosion, and erosion controls with Sarah’s grade 2/3 class from TDSB_Sprucecourt. There is still space in our calendar to facilitate this experience for other classes. Reach out!

Rain, rain (don't) go away, we still go out to learn & play! Puddles & raindrops won't stop Wilkinson Junior Public School kids from leaf learning & cedar spotting! #outdoorlearning sometimes means discovering nature's best umbrella & remembering why rubber boots are best for puddles. ☔🍂
A wonderful day working on team building with students from Cordella JPS ! We had fun problem solving as a group, and working on communication while building structures in our forest! The fall colours were perfect #outdooreducation #outdoorlearing TOES_TDSB Take Me Outside
Every day is Take Me Outside Day Wilkinson Junior Public School because not all classrooms have four walls! I am so lucky to get to see the learning, creating, caring, and fun that happens outside at school.❤️ These Wilki kids are amazing! #outdoorlearning Take Me Outside @wilkinsonpsorg
Experimenting with how to build walls out of rocks and examining their diff properties in the AM. Then outside to interact w/ & photograph the real thing in PM. 3 days in a row outside with Lord Lansdowne PS and Da Vinci gr. 3,4,5,6. 1 more to go! Every day should be #TakeMeOutsideDay
There’s more than one way to investigate biodiversity. After learning about invasive species in the rain, Ms. Gibson’s class from Morse Street JPS searches for other indicator species at Grenadier pond in High Park on sunny afternoon. #OEMemories
Learning about our municipal government, right before an election, then connecting to the community with TUSC is the best! Thanks R.H. McGregor Elementary School for 'incumbant' sign spotting Paula Fletcher, 311 contacting for water that won't stop running, playing & learning. #oememories
Students Bowmore Road Jr & Sr P.S. fight climate change planting trees with Friends of the Rouge, and experience the beauty of a hike in Rouge National Urban Park, Parks Canada. What an awesome day! TOES_TDSB TDSB EcoSchools

Continuing our learning with Valley Park TDSB students at Kensington Market today. We went into the beautiful and historic Kiever Synagogue. TDSB_JewishHeritage Learning Centre 2 #jewishheritagemonth
Thank you for sharing your learning wirh us AllenbyPS_TDSB and recognizing the diversity within our Jewish community!
As part of #JewishHeritageMonth , TDSB_JewishHeritage Committee & Ontario Jewish Archives are offering a lively & historical guided walking tour of Kensington Market to Grade 6 & 7 students. “A Trip to the Market” is an engaging exploration of history, music & architecture.
In Toronto District School Board, our work to combat racism & hate includes learning about other cultures, races & religions.
Understanding different cultures allows for acceptance & tolerance of other people. Today’s visit to the Kiever synagogue was the first time for these students in a synagogue.
Thank you Colleen Russell-Rawlins for joining the students from Gordon A Brown this morning for the “Stories of Spadina” Walking Tour of Kensington Market in honour of Jewish Heritage Month. TDSB_JewishHeritage Gordon A Brown MS TUSC TOES_TDSB
