I had the most amazing talk w/ young 5th & 6th grade girls about my story at Motivation Station. I woke up wanting it to be so much more, truly impacting them w/ a lesson about life. My topic was 'You have the POWER to emPOWER!' focusing on the affects of their words & actions.

And these are the days I live for! Getting in front of kids and paying other forward so someone else has an experience that changes their mindset and/or trajectory. I enjoyed my real talk session at Cooley Ranch Elementary School yesterday. Thank you Counselor Nina for the invitation. I'm grateful!

Student Services wanted to share the experience with everyone else across the nation taking a look at the eclipse. Though we didn't get to see a total eclipse, it was still pretty cool to participate in Science today. NASA

As educators, we really shouldn't be here with kids if we can't love the kids. We cannot help them grow/succeed and provide opportunities if we don't want to serve them. Reflection: Is your heart in this work? And is your heart truly in it for ALL kids?
