Meet Arris, 6, who crafted this masterpiece named 'Eggcellent Rescue.' He drew faces on eggs, sculpted a rescue scene, and even painted Tynemouth’s decal on the lifeboat 😍

Thanks to Tynemouth RNLI, Arris got a first-hand look at his masterpiece in action during a station tour!

Tonight we got to brush up on our towing procedures with Cullercoats Lifeboat We took in turns towing the others boat to familiarise ourselves with how it works in practice, always great fun working with our partners up the coast. We're also looking for crew!

Celebrating International Women’s Day, I’d like to give a special shoutout to my cousin Sheridan who volunteers for Tynemouth RNLI. RNLI celebrates its 200th anniversary and I’m very proud of her and all others who do an amazing job helping save lives. #InternationalWomensDay

We can't believe we marked 200 years of lifesaving on Monday. There were so many incredible celebrations, including vessels on the Tyne sounding a prolonged blast at midday to celebrate Tynemouth RNLI 200th anniversary.

Well this was an unexpected gift to arrive this morning! Huge thank you to The Royal Mint for sending through this commemorative RNLI 50p coin to display at the station. We'll be keeping it pride of place next to past medals and other memorabilia from the stations past! #gifted
