Today, these continue to cultivate lands for farmers amid soaring food insecurity levels and a challenging harvest season in Kauda, South Kordofan.

As the world celebrates this let’s not forget the resilience of women as they continue to be disproportionately affected by this war.

They are not forgotten.

They are not just a number.

Each number is a daughter, a mother, a sister - a woman.

We must not forget .

Almost 10 months of conflict have robbed the people of Sudan of nearly everything.

We are appealing for US$4.1 billion to meet the needs of civilians inside the country and those who have fled to neighbouring countries. reliefweb.int/report/sudan/s…
