Près de 400.000 personnes ont été déplacées dans la seule province du Nord-Kivu depuis le début de l'année. Plus de ressources sont nécessaires pour répondre aux besoins humanitaires grandissants - mais les enfants à l'est de la RDC ont avant tout besoin de paix.

Rencontre émouvante avec Ted Chaiban, David, Joseph, Neema, Sheema et Médiatrice, Enfants Reporters formés par l'UNICEF qui défendent les droits des enfants déplacés. Leur message est clair : l'éducation est la voie vers des lendemains meilleurs, surtout en situations d'urgence.

En mission en #RDC , Ted Chaiban a visité les camps de #Lushagala et #Bulengo près de #Goma où l’UNICEF et ses partenaires apportent une aide vitale à plus de 30.000 enfants et à leurs familles.

She attends one of the 200 UNICEF-supported temporary learning spaces in DR Congo.

Children in Bulengo and Lushagala all scared from the recent shellings of IDP sites. This has to be stopped for once and for all.

Today I met 2-year-old Yoasse, severely burned in a cooking accident at Lushagala camp, in DRC. Her family, displaced by violence, couldn't afford healthcare but thanks to UNICEF’s mobile clinic in the camp, she is now receiving free treatment.

Tens of thousands of families displaced by violence in eastern DRC live in overcrowded sites on the outskirts of Goma, and children bear the brunt of this crisis. Today I saw first-hand how UNICEF is providing health, protection, education, water, sanitation & hygiene services.
