UNICEF’s recent Report Card found that the UK saw the biggest increase in child poverty of all OECD countries between 2012 and 2021.

Unfortunately, today’s figures show how the situation is continuing to deteriorate.

A good step toward sustainable funding for early education and childcare in yesterday's Budget, but big challenges remain. Ambitious investment and transformation must follow. Access needs to be guaranteed for all families and children no matter who they are or where they live.
