💡Spotlight: work under the #SchoolRepairs in Ukraine project funded by the EU's EU Civil Protection & Humanitarian Aid 🇪🇺 and implemented by UNOPS. Students at this school have already returned to their refurbished classrooms.

In 2023, UN Ukraine's recovery efforts saw 995 schools and kindergartens repaired, with some 80,000 children benefitting from rehabilitated education infrastructure.

In 2024, this work continues.

In total, within the framework of the project, new furniture will be delivered to 37 schools.

As we mark two years since Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, UNOPS remains dedicated to addressing urgent needs in affected communities & building a sustainable future. The war has led to vast human suffering, economic impacts, & damage to critical infrastructure.
