Disappointed at outcome of UN Security Council vote on Palestinian UN membership.

It is past time for Palestine to take its rightful place amongst the nations of the world. 🇮🇪 fully supports UN membership and will vote in favour of any UNGA resolution to that end.

Ireland’s 🇮🇪🇺🇳 Youth Delegate UN Youth Delegates Ireland, Mohammad Naeem, addressing the ECOSOC Youth Forum today on implementing the SDGs.

🇮🇪’s UN Youth Delegate Mohammad Naeem joined a panel discussion organised by Finland's Mission to the UN 🇫🇮🇺🇳 to speak about his experience as a delegate.

He urged more Member States to send youth delegates to the 🇺🇳 United Nations to amplify the voices of young people in global decision making. 🌍

Thursday of #CSW68 was the day of the Interactive Dialogue with Youth I got to speak about gender based violence, Irelands introduction of new stalking legislation and holding social media companies accountable for online abuse. I also attended our wonderful EU delegates sidevent

At #CSW68 , 🇮🇪 UN Youth Delegate Alicia O’Sullivan delivered a statement on the nexus between advancing gender equality & addressing women’s poverty.

Alicia called for collaboration among nations to end intimidation, harassment, & violence against women, particularly online 🛜
