The Coastal and Marine Science University of Newcastle fleet of @BlueRobotics BlueROV 2 now have their personal dive sled! This will help us get them down safely to depths greater than 100m. Looking forward to the tests in two weeks!

What a glorious classroom! We’ve been out in the field this morning teaching our University of Newcastle Coastal and Marine Science University of Newcastle third-year students all about beaches and are spending this afternoon looking at what we can learn about #beaches 🏖 from aerial photos and satellite images.

I’ll be joining University of Newcastle in the next couple of months as a Lecturer in Spatial Science. Pretty pumped to be working alongside a bunch of wonderful people including Coastal and Marine Science University of Newcastle. Very thankful for my time with team CSIRO and looking forward to continuing some great science!
