A survey by Vote for Hong Kong 2024 (V4HK) finds HKers in the UK will be passionate voters, they care about foreign (China) policy - regardless of gender, age or education - and they don't have a clear party preference. They may have an impact on marginal seats.

1/ Successfully launched Vote for Hong Kong 2024 (V4HK)’s survey report at the parliament yesterday, which showed UK HKers are keen voters but yet to have party preferences, while concerning UK’s China policy (in particular transnational repression issue) the most.

A survey from Vote for Hong Kong 2024 (V4HK) found er voters in UK much concerned of lenient foreign policy of UK over and China, with a focus on transnational repression from China.

No preferred political party for now, the survey found, but would play a role over marginal seats.

Attended UK Prime Minister's Lunar New Year reception yesterday. Besides engaging in various HKers' events, we've been actively reaching out to officials & parties, ensuring strong support to HKers in upcoming elections. Wish everyone a prosperous Year of 🐲!

Excellent diaspora initiative: Vote for Hong Kong 2024 (V4HK) gets out the vote in the UK, targeting seats where HKers can affect the result & calling for tougher China policy. By year end 180,000 HKers are expected to settle in the UK; 100-140,000 eligible to vote.

Bob Seely MP, Conservative MP for Isle of Wight (Bob Seely MP), highlighted in our launch the contributions BN(O) HKers can make to the British society and the importance of participating in a democratic system, especially how HKers have fled from an authoritarian state.
