At Pilsudski Square in #Warsaw , it was a deeply solemn and special moment as I laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and honored the memory of the victims of the Smolensk tragedy, including Polish President Lech Kaczynski, as we mark the solemn anniversary.

Kicked off my busy day in #Warsaw with a mtng with my dear colleague, Marshalka Szymon Hołownia of the Polish Sejm. We picked up where we left off after his visit to Vilnius two months ago, calling for even closer unity among 🇵🇱 & 🇱🇹 during these crucial times for the region.

Excited to be in #Warsaw today to meet key leaders of the Polish Parliament. Strengthening the #Lithuania - #Poland strategic partnership is crucial in today's complex geopolitical landscape. Grateful for the company of Radvilė Morkūnaitė & ŽygimantasPavilionis🇱🇹🇺🇦🇺🇸🇹🇼🇮🇱 on this important mission.

#OTD in 1994, Belarus adopted its Constitution, marking a milestone post-Soviet independence. Yet, as Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya aptly pointed out at Seimas | #StandWithUkraine today it is a captive of Lukashenko's authoritarian regime, much like the 1500+ political prisoners kept in Belarusian jails.

The Seimas | #StandWithUkraine unanimously passed the resolution I introduced in full support of #Ukraine . Key positions include military aid, NATO membership, using Russia's frozen assets, non-recognition of Russian elections in occupied territories, & returning children taken from Ukraine.
