Since the Rukban camp was established in 2014, residents have suffered from a lack of sustainable food and aid. The last UN aid convoy allowed by the Assad regime to enter the camp was in 2019.

On Tuesday, Syrian Emergency Task Force broke the siege. This was a huge accomplishment.
