Well, I survived and am in recovery following my surgery. I have had fantastic treatment from the NHS today and we NEED TO SAVE IT!!

So the nerves are starting to kick in. The first of I expect many operations to replace busted joints, starting with my hip on Tuesday AM. Surgeon has already said mobility may not come back but the pain will lessen - honestly I will take that.

Really struggled with things today - major surgery due, friends my age dying unexpectedly and just a real feeling of “why bother” tonight. Sat listening to my music and reflecting has helped but I do wonder if it’s just all worth it.
