Congrats to CMU_BME's Bin He, who was selected to deliver the Earl Bakken Lecture at @AIMBE's annual event March 24 in Washington, D.C. The prestigious lecture series honors Bakken’s commitment to improving human welfare through application of biomedical engineering innovation.

Our journey to Sen. Senator Chris Van Hollen’s office was a success! Joined by Prof. Israel Gannot, we met with legislative assistant Hanna Vohra, who is also a Hopkins alum and was very receptive to everything we shared, including our request to the senator to increase NIH funding.
