After 14 years, the Government has nothing left to water down. This budget fails to deliver for Bradford South.

An excellent summary from Judith of how, after 14 years, this Conservative Government has delivered nothing for people in Bradford South.

It was fantastic to meet the team and hear about GXO future plans for their Bradford M&S distribution site. I was also pleased to see the positive working relationship between UsdawUnion and management at GXO.

The Tories inaction and sticking plaster politics are failing our healthcare system.

Labour will act immediately, with appointments for those in urgent need, and long term reform to restore NHS dentistry.

Hugely disappointing that Bradford's ambitious £50m levelling up bid to regenerate Odsal has not been successful.

This is despite independent analysis identifying Bradford as the UK's number one levelling up opportunity.

Another example of Government leaving Bradford behind.

Today I called out years of broken promises by this Tory Government on Northern Powerhouse Rail.

The govt must commit to connecting the North with high-speed rail - with a stop in Bradford

Visited the Amazon site in Swindon today to speak to and organise workers.

No surprise they're angry about their pay, but there's also big issues with safety at the site and a bullying management culture.

Workers joining GMB and joining the fight to make work better. ✊

👩‍⚕️Patients are frustrated and clinicians are concerned that so many appointments and vital consultations are being done over the phone.

🏥There needs to be a guarantee for easily available appointments for everybody who needs them, especially the elderly and vulnerable.

This is a untrue and her memory is very faulty. The minimum wage didn’t exist when she was 16 and she wouldn’t have been paying tax on the amounts that were then standard pay. It was The Labour Party that introduced the minimum wage.
