Recently, to estimate the emissions from waste burning in the city & impact on #airquality , WRI India in collaboration with Gorakhpur Municipal Corporation has initiated a survey for Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) burning incidents & selected three different transect routes of 30+ sq km.
TRAINING | WRI India, with Gujarat Pollution Control Board, RO-Surat and Palsana Enviro Protection Ltd., held an #EnergyEfficiency training program for Surat city's textile processing #MSMEs , under the Resilient, Inclusive and Sustainable ( #RISESurat ) initiative and the National Clean Air Program.
During a sensitization workshop for Safai sevaks, supervisors & contractors of VMC VADODARA on open waste burning, we engaged innovatively with participants to show impact on #airquality . A lit mosquito coil was kept near an air quality sensor to demonstrate the impact of smoke.
