Golden Oriole, Kingsdown flew towards St. Margaret’s at 08:40. Yesterday there was Bee-eater through Bockhill and a Honey Buzzard over Kingsdown on Friday. Other than the odd Hobby and some Crossbills there has been very little else moving!

Couldn't relocate Bockhill Birders 3rd record of Cetti's Warb (found by julian russell & Steven Clinch), but 7 hrs in the field did get me my first Merlin of the autumn & some impressive Starling flocks coming in.

Radde’s Warbler reported near Gun Emplacement, heard & seen briefly. Not relocated in last hour

7 Balearic Shearwater, 6 Arctic Skua, 5 Great Skua, hundreds of Gannets down channel this AM in 4.5 hours Bockhill Birders

This Spotted Flycatcher was the highlight from slim pickings Bockhill Birders this am.

First Stonechat of autumn this morning

A 6 hour trudge around Bockhill in the rain this morning produce a female type Redstart, 7 Lesser Whitethroats, 5 Common Whitethroats, 6 Yellow Wagtails, 5 Willow Warblers, Chiffchaff, Blackcap and nice to see 7 Yellowhammers Bockhill Birders KOS

The wind & rain didn't help, but a selection of birds seen today Bockhill Birders. Redstart, Willow Warb, Turnstone.

No Wryneck Bockhill Birders today, but this Pied Flycatcher showed well this afternoon.
