First signs of spring? - singing Chiffchaff in the sunshine & a very lost looking Pheasant on the undercliffe!

This Grey Wagtail brightened up a gulling session in St Margaret's Bay this morning. Frequently heard when vis-migging, less often on the deck Bockhill Birders
First Ring Ouzel of autumn in Freedown. Cetti’s still at Gun Emplacement #desperatetimes
Couldn't relocate Bockhill Birders 3rd record of Cetti's Warb (found by julian russell & Steven Clinch), but 7 hrs in the field did get me my first Merlin of the autumn & some impressive Starling flocks coming in.
Yellow-browed Warbler at Gun Emplacement found by Barry Wright , possibly a new bird. A small arrival of thrushes early morning. 62 Jays through.
7 Balearic Shearwater, 6 Arctic Skua, 5 Great Skua, hundreds of Gannets down channel this AM in 4.5 hours Bockhill Birders
