I want to do some C#/Unity development on my MacBook Air, and I'm discovering there is no good option of IDE? Rider is expensive, VS For Mac is retired and Visual Studio is not cross platform.
Am I missing some option? There's surely many Mac C# developers in the same boat.

At my old job, we used Angular for webdev, and many a developer told me React was far more pleasant.
Now I'm using React, and it is just as miserable.
