'With nearly 800 councillors to Reformโs 9, the [Green] party is already โ often quietly โ plugging away locally. Often, thatโs holding Labourโs feet to the fire. Very soon in Bristol and elsewhere, that role may be reversed'

Here's a thread with some of Bristol Green Party's ideas for how to improve transport ahead of the council elections on Thursday 2nd May. ๐งต
Labour really are pathetic.
Clean air is a human right.
They can't both claim to care about it and send politically partisan letters to The Green Party leadership days before an election that look exactly like the Tories!
Want Green? Vote Green.
Introducing our candidates: Izzy Russell is standing in Ashley.

Today residents praised my accidental colour coordination with the eve of poll cards (!) and told me they know how hard Bristol Green Party Cllrs Cllr Emma Edwards and James Crawford work for our community in #bishopstonandashleydown and are voting The Green Party on Thursday ๐๐๐
Sixty-one years ago, on April 30th 1963, the #BristolBusBoycott began. They marched for jobs, equality and freedom - and defeated the colour bar after four months.
It's crucial that we don't forget such an important legacy, and we remember and honour those who led it!
.Caroline Lucas came to Bristol on Saturday as we prepare for Thursday's #LocalElections2024 , and joined me door knocking in #BristolCentral .
๐ The number of Green councillors across England and Wales is growing and growing.
๐ On Thursday, you can help us elect even more by voting Green.
