A lunchtime visit to #LMGP for a lovely Wood Sandpiper. Also there a 2cy Caspian Gull - pretty worn with quite an abraded tail tip. As usual, both fairly distant, so record crops only.

Whimbrel was the highlight of this morning's pre-work visit to #LMGP - massive crop as always distant. Garden Warblers are now picking up with 4 birds heard singing yesterday. First Canada goslings and a wading roebuck also seen just post dawn.

The charts looked great for overnight passerine migration, and Ivinghoe Beacon duly delivered this morning with 3 Whinchat and 6 Wheatears. Supporting cast of singing Corn Buntings and many warblers including Garden in fine voice Bucks Bird Alert

One day shy of two years since the last Bucks record, we have a Black-winged Stilt in the county again. This bird eventually settled at the back of College Lake this afternoon. Also two Shelduck, a Common Sand and a Yellow Wag #BucksBirdNews
