Completely agree and support all of Prof Kennedy’s arguments. To add as a Stage IV Irish cancer patient clinical trials can mean life or death. To hear that because of GDPR and other issues Ireland has too few trials is beyond heartbreaking. Our lives matter.

Working to obtain harmonisation on the interpretation of GDPR across the multitude of legal entities in health in Ireland is a 2024 key objective for CancerTrialsIreland 🌈 Great to see the Oireachtas invite discussion with M John Kennedy via Neasa Hourigan TD
