We traveled to and from Tucson today including a visit to the Gates Pass in the Tucson Mountains and a visit to the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. Lots of car time today, but seeing Fiona’s home was worth all the driving time on this final chapter of our Arizona adventure.

Today’s adventure included the awesome Desert Botanical Garden, Phoenix. Perfect 70 degree weather.

An outstanding book to begin our southwestern adventure. Dennis Lehane’s gripping novel is set on the eve of school desegregation in 1974 in Southie. We listened to much of it as well with the authentic Boston accents of its storyteller. Just a terrific book!
