Being as charitable as possible: I think BBC has questions to ask itself over representation and balance in politics programming. Over-representation of (very) underperforming minor parties, recycling of (very)unreliable rumours. Do they equitably represent the nation they serve?

London is the only home I've ever known. It is a marvellous and welcoming city, full of tradition and opportunities. The people posting on this site who are desperate to convince you it's awful generally don't live here, which is excellent news for those of us who do.

In the North East London constituency the 'Britain First: No to Immigration' candidate was beaten by the Animal Welfare Party, Count Binface, and a random independent.

God I love my city.

One thing I've consistently noticed in my career is how statisticians & methodologists often have to fight to have their input fully recognised

e.g. in terms of % time allocated, author position, & being listed as a co-applicant or co-supervisor rather than a collaborator
