One of the finest remaining examples of a classical coastal artillery fort is due to reopen to the public in April following extensive restoration works. Fortifications at Camden Fort Meagher in Cork Harbour date back to the mid-1500s.

We can confirm that there were no Irish personnel involved with this patrol. Our troops in Lebanon are all accounted for, safe, and continue to carry out their roles and responsibilities as part of UNIFIL 🇮🇪🇺🇳🇱🇧
